Tempo Drogato, 2003

The sculpture Tempo Drogato (drugged time) is made of two different types of wood, beech and lime-tree. The different red coloured wood is constructed so that it forms two spirals (a symbolic form of time) that defines a parallelepidian form. In one end of this temporal form there are made some cuts in various angles to look inside the spiral body from many perspectives: it is deformed, decomposed and recomposed. The same quantity of time i contemporary extended, contracted and deformed.

Tiglio, faggio evaporato, variabile

Tempo drogato è costruita con due tipi di legno: tiglio e faggio evaporato creano un gioco di tonalità di rosso. Le diverse tavole di legno disegnano in modo alternato una spirale (una forma simbolica del tempo) - dall'interno all'esterno - creando un parallelepipedo. Questa forma costruttiva e simbolica del tempo è intagliata lungo varie angolature che conducono all’interno del corpo stesso: il volume così si deforma, si decompone e poi si ricostruisce. La stessa quantità di tempo è contemporaneamente estesa, contratta e deformata.
